Each standard package includes a number of Birth Marriage and Death certificates, of your choice. Additional certificates can be provided at cost (currently £11 each, or £7.50 for a PDF version when available).
If you have black and white, or sepia, photos that you want to be included in your Family Tree, I can colourise these for extra impact, and include them in the final report. Several of the photos on this site have been colourised this way.
For the simpler Research Packages I consult census records and records of births, marriages and deaths.
For the Full Package I also consult other available online records.
For bespoke research assignments I will visit the relevant archives in order to get sight of original records not otherwise available online.
Centralised UK birth, marriage, and death records only go back to 1837. All of our standard packages should be fully covered by these, but even so, some records may be missing.
Before 1837 parish and other local records are all that exist and these are increasingly patchy the longer ago they were, so there is no guarantee that older ancestors can be found.
You will receive a paper copy of the family tree report and supporting research printed on heavy acid free paper in a springback binder. This will contain a narrative of the people and facts discovered, along with a full citation list, a timeline for the events, and the certificates you selected. You will also be able to download a GEDCOM file of the data, the report, and all images in digital format,
