Starter Package
The smallest of my family tree research packages shows you the kind of information that can be found by Genealogical Research.
Working from Census records, I will investigate at least one generation back from the research starting person, identifying names, ages and places of birth, occupations, and addresses of the people found. Please note that there will be an additional charge for each record from the 1921 census.
You will receive one birth, marriage, or death certificate, digital copies with transcriptions of all documents I used, and a written report including my assessment of the potential for further research.
The cost of this Starter Package will be discounted against the cost of any further research you purchase from The Tree Sleuths (not including further Starter Packages).
Single name Family Tree covering four generations
This is the next step up in my family tree research packages, showing the direct ancestors of a single person following a single name backwards from the starting person.
For example, following the father, the father's father, and then their father, this tree shows them and their spouses.
This will show names, ages and places of birth, occupations, and addresses. Please note that there will be an additional charge for each record from the 1921 census.
You will receive three birth, marriage, or death certificates, digital copies with transcriptions of all documents I used, and a detailed printed written report including my assessment of the potential for further research.
Double name Family Tree covering four generations
This is the most popular of my family tree research packages, showing the direct ancestors on both sides from the starting person, following two names backwards.
For example, following the father, the father's father, and then their father, as well as the mother, mother's father, and their father, this tree shows them and their spouses.
This will show names, ages and places of birth, occupations, and addresses. Please note that there will be an additional charge for each record from the 1921 census.
You will receive five birth, marriage, or death certificates, digital copies with transcriptions of all documents I used, and a detailed printed written report including my assessment of the potential for further research.
Ancestor Family Tree covering three generations
This is a the most traditional of my family tree research packages, showing all direct ancestors of the starting person, for a number of generations.
This will show names, ages and places of birth, occupations, and addresses. Please note that there will be an additional charge for each record from the 1921 census.
You will receive three birth, marriage, or death certificates, digital copies with transcriptions of all documents I used, and a detailed printed written report including my assessment of the potential for further research.
Extending the scope to include additional generations rapidly increases the amount of work involved in uncovering everybody, so please speak to us about this.
Full Research Package from the starting person
This is the most complete of my family tree research packages, where I will investigate several generations, going back as far as the 17th Century if the records are available, along at least two name lines from the starting person.
In addition to Census records, I will consult Parish Register records, travel records, wills and probate records, land records, military records, and old newspaper articles. In some cases (this depends on where people were living) criminal and legal records, education records, and poor law and workhouse records, may also be found.
Siblings will also be identified, but their spouses and descendants are not included.
If available, ten Birth, Marriage, and Death certificates of your choice are included.
